BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh.

 

Research & Achievement:

Her paper on “Obstacle avoiding and Fire Extinguishing Robot for Everyday Fire Security” has been accepted by ICT4SD 2020. She participated and presented her paper in the 5th International Conference on Information and Communication Technology for Sustainable Development (ICT4SD 2020) held during July 23 – 24, 2020.

 

She has been awarded with certificate and prize money for obtaining the position of 1st runner up of APP Jam for Women 2020, powered by Robi Axiata Ltd. She has been awarded “The Dean’s List Scholarship Awards” consecutively twice for holding the highest CGPA in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) Dept of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh.

     Maheli Ahmed

Education:

B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering from the Institute of Science and Technology in 2017

M.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering from Jagannath University in 2019 and achieved first place in the merit list.

Research & Achievement: 

Research interests include Data Mining, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Cyber Security.

    Syeda Sajia Afroz

Education:

Sajia has completed her bachelor’s degree in Economics from Jagannath University, Dhaka and accomplished Master’s degree in Environmental Economics from the University of Dhaka holding second position in order of merit.

Research & Achievement: 

From the beginning of the University life, Sajia has been involved in education, research, and development organization that included Jaago Foundation, Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center, Criticallink, Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defense, Bangladesh Economic Association, One-degree initiative, Bangladesh Math Olympiad, and so on. During her university journey, she has been leading various teams successfully as a team leader. Apart from this, she has been involved in conducting community service projects on behalf of different organizations as well. In addition, her own project “Awareness on Disaster Management” teaches the students how to ensure maximum usages of the available resources to minimize fatality during the catastrophe. Also, she participated in different types of workshops as well as took training in order to develop her skills both at the national and international levels. Prior to joining this institute, she worked as a Research Officer in one of the development organizations names is DevResonance Ltd at Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation department. In the past, she has also worked as a Research Assistant for the project of “Bangladesh Youth Network” of UNDP and the project “Urban Green Infrastructure in the Global South: Adopting Slums to Climate Change in Dhaka, Bangladesh” of University of Wollongong, Australia. Her article got published in the Dhaka School of Economics, Newsletter which title is “Korail Basti – Tip of An Iceberg on Unplanned Urbanization in Bangladesh” (Special Issue: April –September 2017. In addition, Sajia nominated for an anti-tobacco award as a young researcher for her outstanding research under the National Anti -Tobacco Platform in the year 2019. Besides, she has been selected in the Youth Exchange Program between Bangladesh and Srilanka as a youth leader, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs Bangladesh in the year 2015. Moreover, She won a (100%) scholarship from the International Supply Chain Alliance (ISCEA) by participating in a case competition in order to complete Supply Chain Course to become a Certified Supply Chain Analyst and received a Scholarship from the PKSF for completing her Masters Dissertation. Furthermore, She has been featured on the Guardian as a community volunteer and also featured on the UNV magazine which name is ”Share Your Vision For the Post -2015, Bangladesh Youth Discussing Development for the future” as a youth representative of the Jaago Foundation. She has also extensive knowledge of applications in Microsoft Office including the advanced use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and sound knowledge in data analysis, report writing as well as SPSS and STATA statistical software. Finally, Sajia loves to work and research on emerging issues including environmental problems for creating a better Bangladesh.

    Zinat Alfaz Pinky

Education:

She completed her graduation and post-graduation in Sociology and she has an MSS in Clinical Social Work from ISWR,University of Dhaka.

She completed Primary Clinical Mental Health Training Program from Lifespring.
